Dear Neighbor,

On behalf of the Board of Directors and your neighbors, we extend a warm welcome to
Hazelwood Neighborhood Association! We are delighted to have you join our community and
hope you will quickly feel at home.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, safe, and beautiful place to live, and your membership in
the Neighborhood Association helps us maintain these standards and enhance community life for
everyone.

To help you get settled, we’ve put together some essential information and resources.
Association Website & Resident Portal: Your go-to source for all community documents,
announcements, and forms is our website:

We are currently working on developing a website and other social media pages for us to
network and communicate more efficiently. Please check back on the facebook page, email and
newsletter periodically for updates.

Board Members: A list of board members and their contact information is available on our
newsletter, social media and this letterhead.

Community Guidelines: To ensure a harmonious living environment, we have established certain
guidelines (e.g., for parking, pets, noise ordinances, and trash disposal). You can review the full
governing documents on the website, but a brief overview of key rules is included in your
welcome packet.

Amenities: As a resident, you have access to wonderful amenities, including the Iroquois Park,
Waterson Lake Park, a walking bridge, public library, post office, hospital, immediate care center
grocery and convenient store. You can find access hours and reservation details on our social
media sites.

Upcoming Events & Meetings: This is a great way to meet your neighbors and get involved! Our
next tentative Monthly Meeting is scheduled for January 10, 2026, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at
Foxing Books located at 1314 Bluegrass Ave, Louisville, KY 40215.

Next Steps to Get Involved
Register: Join the Hazelwood Neighborhood Association free for the first year. Annual
membership dues will be collected on December 1-10; of the following year you joined. Dues
paying members will receive one qualifying vote from the general membership per household.

Membership dues are $10.00 annually made payable by cash, check, money order or online with
a credit/debit card to Hazelwood Neighborhood Association Incorporated. Additionally, you may
complete the enclosed membership application in your welcome packet and return it to us by
mail or email.

Review: Take a moment to look over the welcome packet or documents on our social media
pages to familiarize yourself with the community standards.

Attend: We encourage you to join us at an upcoming meeting or social event. We'd love to meet
you in person!
